Well said.
Growing manifestation that Establishment Republicans are loathed by their base of conservative citizens who are begging them to represent them against the corruption of Washington and an the Deep State. . . Though Trump is not that conservative, he has certainly been a reliable ally in that struggle. Trump will get my vote even if not on the ballot.
You’re done pence. Slink back to your burrow and think about your failures
They should be booing “Red Flag and Bump stock Ban” Trump as well.
Trump is more conservative than Reagan and Reagan was great. No. He’s not 100% conservative on some things. I can’t imagine we can have it all
Well said
I told my parents last night that there was only one candidate with a chance to win who will work tirelessly to keep my children out of war.
Trump.
I generally like DeSantis for some issues, but the people endorsing and pushing for him are the pinnacle of neocon uniparty warmongers. They are also the same people in bed with the banksters and Wall Street.
Because of this, I have a hard time trusting him. He is the chosen one for the uniparty.
Pushing back against “woke” is important (DeSantis scores high) but keeping our children out of wars that benefit globalist and corporations is much more important. Navigating the coming financial storm on behalf of my children and not our wealthy elite Ivy-league know-nothings is far more important to me than drag queen story hour.
You summed it up nicely and I agree!
Well said Vaquero!
I wonder if Mike dense has started to figure out what a pos people think he is
Maybe he’s too stupid
Yes he’s stupid. He would have been our candidate and probably president in 2024 if he had a backbone.
I can’t believe Mikey thought he would get a warm welcome. 😏
I’ll vote for Trump if he’s the nominee.
But I’m not inspired by him at this point.
He was blocked at every turn by Dems, establishment Republicans, and a compliant media apparatus. But there were many opportunities that he squandered, either out of short-sightedness or out of misplaced “loyalty”, and I’m beyond forgiving any politician, Trump included, for what this country has become.
I don’t see the neocons lining up behind DeSantis at all, but perhaps they think that they can influence him. His recent comments on the Ukraine war and our lack of national interest in it caused wailing and consternation among the neocons.
The only reason Trump chose this very mediocre man as his Vice President was that in view of Trump’s sexual escapades, it was thought that Pence would give Trump credibility with evangelical Christians. IMHO never before has the United States has such a dearth of competent, inspiring leadership as it is now experiencing. Given the reality that there no longer exists a consensus of reasonably held values to truly unite Americans, its difficult to imaging a decent , competent leader emerging. Historically when civilization reach a point where the consensus has been lost, the leaders who assume power are almost always horrific. Be and his cabal.
Birds of a feather. Pence/LaPierre both equally pieces of debris.
Might as well have been hand-selected for us by China.
Then again... maybe they even were.
Growing manifestation that Establishment Republicans are loathed by their base of conservative citizens
**************
Make no mistake, the Establishment Republicans (which is the vast majority of the party) despise its own base. They do absolutely nothing to advance the conservative agenda.
Pence is the epitome of the GOP’s disregard for its voters.
Excellent post. One of your very best.
I like your focus on future generations. We have a sacred obligation to leave them a safe, law abiding and prosperous country. Nothing could be more important.
“...last barrier to the Biden theft of the election...”
AS much as I dislike Pence as he was, and still is, a real waste as a public servant, you can’t blame him for this one. Once the vote tabulations have been certified at state level, the only thing congress does is count their numbers to verify them with state representatives standing right there. Pence, nor anyone else, can stop that function if it is a question as to the legalities of the election. That ended when the votes were counted.
It can only be stopped operation wise at congressional level if the tabulation in the state certified count of electoral votes differs from the amount on the passed paperwork. If for any reason, it is not tabulated and confirmed, and all states must be counted, then within the 12th amendment of having no majority in the count from the states, there is a designated way to elect from that point. But there has to be no clear majority of counting the state electoral votes.
