I find it hard to believe a 21 year old would have that kind of access. Who was it above him in the chain of command that gave him the access, or provided him with the documents to leak?

What I find amazing is that an Airman First Class, which is an E-3 rank on the military scale of ranks, was able to have that top-secret clearance at that rank.
E-3 is just 2 ranks above raw recruit.

...I agree....and I still wonder what this guy’s status is/was....was he a traditional, so-called “part-time” Air Guardsman or was he a full-time Air Guard technician...? something about this whole episode does not pass the smell test....
BTW... “Airman First Class,” as well as “Airman Recruit” all the way to “Chief Master Sergeant” are ranks; E-1 through E-9 are military pay grades....

Nothing says government PR operation like notifying the news media ahead of an arrest so they can film it, and then showing up with a bunch of guys in military uniforms with rifles to arrest some kid sitting on his deck reading a book.

The double standard in this country over whistleblowers is astounding.
When they do this to Trump, it’s entirely fine.
