It’s a shame he’ll be allowed to simply retire in luxury after what he’s helped do to the rest of us.

He must still be in very bad shape as nobody has seen or heard from him since the fall. We just get written statements from staffers.

Ron Johnson WI would be good.

After what he has done to this nation I hope he suffers a slow and painful death, the same as the slow and painful situation he has placed the Republican voters in for the last DECADES!! No sympathy for this POS!!!
To: ConservativeInPA
Promises promises. Sure, sure, the old greedy corrupt POS won’t leave DC on his own two feet but will be carried out feet first before he gives up power.

Ron Johnson would be EXCELLENT I forgot all about him!! I have NO FAITH at all that the base will matter one bit in the choice here, they don’t give a shit about what we want!!

Wait, wouldn’t Beshear select his replacement until a new election?

KY has a Dem governor, what are the rules for replacing a senator there? My concern, as well.

See No 5. The KY GOP nominates three and Beshear has to choose one of them. My hope is for the AG, but I don’t think Beshear would appoint him because that would give a boost to an up and coming young black conservative

The fact that Cornyn is in on it tells you that only deep state replacement will do.

The sooner is he is gone the better. I will admit though he did a great job marshalling Trump’s SC nominees through.

Too bad it’s not “Senate preparing for McConnell’s imprisonment”. Just get him the heck out of there!
To: All
I've noticed that this news about McConnell comes out
at the same time that news about the Democrats calling
for California Sen. Diane Feinstein to be replaced because
she hasn't been at her job for quite awhile.
The latest news is that she is still recovering from a
bout of shingles and is unable to work. I believe she hasn't
been seen in the Senate for at least two months.
So the Dems are whining that they can't get their Senate
legislative goals enacted because they are missing
Feinstein and the "depressed" senator from Pennsylvania
Fetterman. Meanwhile, the Republicans are missing McConnell.
I don't think the American public misses any of these three.
