I’ve never really drank much Bud Light. I’ve been OK with regular Budweiser.
But if we think about it, it seems that most of the beer brands out there (Molson, Miller, etc) have acquired a degree of “wokeness” over the recent years.
Even in my neck of the woods (Minneapolis-St. Paul), the local micro-breweries seem to be tilting leftward. Of course, most of them are located right in the urban area where the consumers are all leftists.
Bug Lite is beer for the tasteless as it tasteless in more than one way...it’s nasty. Give me Anchor Steam or Guinness Extra Stout, either costs little more than Bug and are truly tasty premium brews.
But they get get a good score on the LGBTQ corporate scorecard. Cater to 1.5% of the population and most of the other 98.5% say WTH?
Share holders should sue their asses off.
What happened to “go woke, go broke”?
Every organization feels compelled for some reason to embrace this insanity. None are immune. Banks, telecommunication companies, associations, and even some churches.
I’ll never buy that piss again.
Don’t put a freak in charge of your brand.
They need to bring back Schlitz and Peal’s Real Draft.
