Maybe turnout was low, and only people who wanted something or were getting something from the city voted. Put city employees together with those in nursing homes and cemeteries, throw in the activists and non-profit groups, and you may have a majority right there.

Chicago is corrupt as hell, it’s gone. Those that escape will be moving down here to Springfield and continue turning it blue. I now have a dem rep. I’ve already had several incidents here lately including my car being stolen. Scott Adams was right...time to seriously consider moving.

This is Eric Adams winning the NYC mayoral election. People thought how could NYC get worse. Well it got worse and the one thing I've learned in my life is you don't know when it's the bottom. There's always room to decline no matter how bad it seems.

I grew up in Hinsdale. As a teenaged girl, I jumped on the train a couple of times a month to go see my dentist on Michigan Avenue. Walked across the loop with no fear, got teeth done, walked back to my dad’s office , took train hime with him.
How many times would I be murdered on that nice walk today?
