There might be a slight language problem when the recruited Westerner pilots cannot speak Ukrainian to understand the orders of their superiors or fellow pilots on two-way radios while in combat.
A few years ago, I saw a Russian-made bulldozer for sale in Tennessee. It had instructions printed on placards attached to its steel body regarding the machine’s proper operation but the instructions were in Russian.

The important thing is what they have done with what the West has given them, Ukraine has been extraordinary against Russia.

The Ukraine is just a proxy for NATO. The combined forces of NATO are fighting Russia and losing, using Ukrainians as canon fodder and photo ops. No one seems to care that NATO is putting the Ukraine and its infrastructure into the woodchipper as it battles Russia.
