Good question. I’d say the answer is yes. When he was in office one of his goals was to get European NATO members to pay their fair share of their own defense. The Uke war is not a NATO war, even though our masters are acting like it, and we are paying the largest amount, as always.
I think the Donald will put a stop to this nonsense. If the Europeans want a war, let them pay for it, let them provide the weapons. This will be a big NO to the war if it is still raging the extent our current regime wants to inject our very own military personnel as combatants.
And I think the war will still be going on in 2024. The Ukes will be down to their last teenagers and retirees to fight and will need fresh flesh for the Russians to slaughter. What’s important is money is being made replacing expended armaments and let’s not forget the laundromat. So the war must go on, and US troops will be on the ground to see to it.
Lets be accurate, the ONLY Europeans that wanted war was Putin's Russia, that invaded Ukraine. No other Europeans invaded anybody.

We are all entitled to our opinions, and most opinions are not necessarily fact based.
What is fact based is we are not the world’s policeman. We can no longer afford foreign wars that gain us absolutely nothing. This is a European war, this is not a NATO war. More facts being our southern border is where the action should be. I could go on.

Over imaginary WMD’s in Iraq and presumed terrorists hiding out in Afghanistan? Bin Laden could have been taken out with surgical special forces strikes, as he was in the ending anyway without wasting 20 years worth of good Americans dying and all that money spent. With the final ending of just throwing it all away with a chicken-fied pull out. It made the American deaths in that war just a total waste, not to mention the vets suffering today.
Now I am not favoring Russia here, but what was their excuse for invading? Could it be the Uke Nazi’s shelling ethnic Russians on the eastern border? Could it be Ukraine threatening to join NATO, an organization that should have been disbanded soon after the end of the cold war?

What’s happening in Ukraine was the main reason Trump had to be cheated out of re-election in ‘20. Pretty simple really to understand.
Trump was sending weapons to Ukraine when he was President. Obama/Joe only sent blankets. Trump was one of the reasons that Ukraine was initially able to defend itself as well as they did.

Estonia is using 50% of its defense budget on Ukraine.
New important countries are seeking to join NATO because of this war, Finland is now part of our alliance and already is opening its airspace to NATO. Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are working to combine air defense forces in the face of the Russian threat.
There is great movement and new arrangements and solutions coming out of NATO.

The NATO war thing is in the context that NATO is united in its support of Ukraine, it is not just the United States supporting Ukraine as it tries to fight off the Russian invasion.
NATO material support although they are not in the actual war is illustrating how useful the defensive nature of NATO can be.
