but did Trump know what he was reimbursing him for or did Cohen just bill it as other legal services.
It makes sense if you believe Trump.
His story is he wasn’t aware at the time Cohen made the payments. Once Cohen explained the Daniel’s deal to him (later on) he reimbursed Cohen out of his own money - not campaign funds.
“Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed Mr. Cohen for the payment directly or indirectly,” Cohen lawyer Stephen Ryan wrote on Feb. 8, 2018.

As I said, by Trumps’s own admission he reimbursed Cohen personally. It wasn’t the Trump Organization or the campaign, it was Trump himself.

I don’t know without going back over the timeline.
I’m assuming it was whenever Cohen spoke to Trump and told him the deal Cohen made on his behalf.
I’m not sure why you’re hung up on this, these facts really aren’t in dispute.
There is also a personal letter by Stormy Daniels stating that she never had any sexual relationship with Trump and that she and her husband at the time made that claim for money.
There is just no there there.
