Occam's Razor suggests it was simply Police Cowardice.
Body armor and it’s rating levels are a “nice to have”. But they do NOT dictate your response. And the best armor is rounds into the bad guy.
Last but not least, there is a well known cop hierarchy. Innocent victims at top, followed by cops and fire, and last, criminals.
You are expected and PAID to risk your life for people in the higher category, and not for the lower. If the cop safety was the first priority, they would never go to a call.
It’s pure cowardice to not go right into the assault. The cops have not had a “wait for SWAT” rule for active shooters for at least two decades (more in better departments)
These cowardly and unskilled fatties deemed it “hostage” situation despite the fact that he was still shooting.
Two out of four hits at 70 yards with a pistol is decent shooting. The fact that it was under duress makes it great shooting. The guy with the MAK-90 could have easily returned hits if he wasn’t a murdering simp expecting easy targets.
I regularly shoot letter paper sized targets at 50 yards. With a good service handgun, it’s not that hard.
There is extra confidence in having 15-17 rounds like in a Beretta M9 standard-sized magazine. Our rotten governor in Washington state is about to take that away with his ten round mag limit.
That’s alot of words to write to make an excuse for cowardice.
Whose "body armor" was a baseball cap.
Thanks for reminding us of that heroism.

Uvalde Police Departmentbr> February 11, 2020Notice anything? Like the LBE body armor, Glocks, Colt LE6920s, Eotech sights and Surefire lights?
đŸŸ¥ Public Service AnnouncementđŸŸ¥The Uvalde Police Dept. S.W.A.T. will be visiting the Uvalde CISD schools, Uvalde Classical
Academy, and local businesses throughout the day. The purpose of the visits is to familiarize
themselves with layouts of our local schools and businesses. S.W.A.T members will be in full
tactical uniforms and we did not want the public to be alarmed when seen. We appreciate the
cooperations of all schools and businesses involved. We will continue working together to make
Uvalde the safest place to live.
Thank You
Can someone explain this to me??? Why??The best answer is from June of last year: "Something is very wrong in that town."
He was well known as an incompetent. In situations like that, you ignore a clown and deal with it later. That is exactly what the Border Patrol men did.
That. The worst law enforcement failure was leadership. The Incident Commander ordered that nothing be done, and LEOs stood around, following orders. If his order had been "follow me" or "Jim, you are in tactical command. Breach the door, and end this NOW!" I think that almost all, perhaps all, of the officers condemned as cowards would have followed.
What crap
Semi auto rifle. Know to be shooting kids and just sit back?
Nonsense.
The “profession” has the wrong ROE.
Tim Kennedy on How to Deter Active Shooters (***Language Alert***)
Probably very true. Can you imagine if the shooter had an M1A?
That’s why they were drinking coffee and gently chatting the whole time?
They deserve the death penalty.
Cowardness.
The Uvalde LEO were gutless cowards, caring only for their pension! No good in combat, and certainly no good in REAL combat.
Fags, sissies and women. What a PD.
True, but once there are something like 50 armed police officers on the scene you would think at least a couple of them would not be total cowards or sheep.
It would be easier facing a kid with an AR-15 than German soldiers in pillboxes with MG-42’s.
