RDS is beholden to the BIG money wing of the R party, which hates the very concept of a Trump. If he says one word about this they’ll accuse him of biting the hand that feeds him.
Once you see the puppet’s strings, you can’t unsee them.

Speculative release of un-CONfirmed info maybe should have tempered comments? Butt, butt, butt it was in the interweb.... 🤔

Trump’s unprovoked personal attacks have not made it easy for DeSantis to come to his aid. Nevertheless, DeSantis would incur much goodwill by coming to Trump’s aid — and he could be the next target.

Let me get this straight. He wants somebody who has no involvement in a situation to stop somebody else from doing something that they haven’t done yet?

Whether you look at Trump's statements as attacks or not, and whether or not you look at DeSantis's lack of loyalty towards President Trump as well, you are correct, DeSantis would have come out looking much better if he had put aside any rancor he was feeling towards President Trump and did the right thing by Denouncing this attempt at using the Law to persecute President Trump.

So, point out to us where President Trump has asked either DeSantis or Haley to "do something" besides simply do the morally correct thing by speaking out against this illegal, unconstitutional, and unethical action on the part of the N.Y. District Attorney?

Furthermore, if DeSantis wants to be POTUS in 2024, as all of his actions, if not his words, show, then shouldn't he be demonstrating that he is a leader?
His actions in this scenario do not show leadership, they show political miscalculation and cowardice.

Morally correct? No, the morally correct thing is not to be an adulterer and a whomemonger.

It is smarter to wait to hear the actual charges than to react before we know anything of detail.
