I know we often (okay, constantly) mock and complain about California's politics, but these people have had it rough for the past few weeks. The storms there have been relentless, and this state is used to very little winter weather and usually benefits from sunny enjoyable days. Yes, the mountainous regions get a few weeks of snow and colder weather in the winter, but nothing like they have been receiving.

And remember California is where our FR servers are located, so if for no other reason, say a prayer for those that are suffering.

For as long as records have been kept, California, with its periodic episodes of droughts and floods, has hit with occasional deluges of thunderstorms coming from the area of Hawaii. It was called the “Pineapple Express”. That name clearly isn’t scary enough. It sounds almost good (like in great for farming).

So, now it’s “Atmospheric Rivers”. That’s still probably not scary enough. How about “Deluge Bombs”?

They’ll flush the excess into the ocean rather than filling reservoirs. Let Newsom pay for it out his aunt’s crafty stock deals.

Would you believe that there are portions of northern and central California which "experts" and unelected, powerful bureaucrats to this very day classify as still being in a "moderate" to "severe" drought area?

Just goes to prove that there is big money to be made and even bigger power to be achieved in preserving and maintaining the "drought panic" out here.

I was in central california in 1994 and they had severe floods back then and they still do not have enough reservoirs and all that water is going straight out to the ocean. So once again they will be in drought conditions. California politicians are corrupt and governor Newscum is Nancy Pelosi’s nephew and part of the Pelosi crime family. So California will not be able to recover from all that criminal activity.
