Thousands of times every week, defense attorney's plead "not guilty" on behalf of hardened criminals who are obviously guilty based on incontrovertible evidence. Are these attorneys "guilty" of the same crime that these Trump attorneys are accused of? Are these defense attorneys "censured" on a routine basis for knowing their client committed the crime but stated that they didn't?
I'm not saying that Ellis is guilty of this accusation, but even if she was, it was her right as an attorney to defend a Client, even if that client is the voting public of a state.
