Maybe not a potential 2024 Republican nominee for the office of the Presidency, but a great punching bag for Donald J. Trump. Takes the heat off Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis.

Long answer: if anyone not 100% prolife gets the GOP nomination, the GOP is over. A new second, prolife pro-God party will instantly arise and take its place, as the GOP did to the Whigs 170 years ago.
