I am not talking about the death penalty. I am talking about the method of execution. It has to be a method that was prescribed by law at the time the crime was committed.
States are already playing fast and loose with the statue of limitations. Which can’t be changed for past crimes per the constitution. Yet they are doing it. And it is a slippery slope if you allow them to do it with one thing then it leads to another and another.
And as much as I can’t stand that weasel Alec Baldwin they tried to charge him with a crime that was not on the books either when he committed his crime. That is why they had to drop part of the charges when they were called out on it.
