“Moldava ought to sell/ship anything they have as fast as they can.”
Moldova does not have any control over those ammo dumps. They are under the control of the Russian army, which has been occupying Transnistria for quite a while now after one of their previous military adventures in the former Soviet states.
“So this is definatly a Western move to increase the war.”
Right, because the “West” drew the map for Putin’s original battle plan which marked Moldova as the next target after Odessa falls, as revealed by the President of Belarus last year.
It’s funny…I used that exact argument with my wife when she questioned why Russia would stir stuff up there. Russians are acting like middle school girls with all of their drama and outrage. No one is impressed.
And Moldova is just that much closer to NATO. Russia WANTs NATO cruise missiles flying so they can use the “nuclear” card to sue for peace.
No wonder Joe and Hunter have been so engaged. Joe's hoping for a sniff and Hunter wants to show them his paintings.
It’s not difficult to see what Putins wants...and it’s not about Ukraine....from his perspective it’s the landbridge..and certainly controlled Black Sea for his fleet and access to the Med. Sea.....and if he must landlock Ukraine.
Thing is, he already had access to the Black Sea and the Med after 2014. Not total undisputed control of the Black Sea, but Ukraine was in no position to challenge him on the sea, so for all intents and purposes, if that was his strategic goal, he had accomplished it, and is only risking losing that by waging this war.
A well orchestrated plan getting refugees out - even our nato military was helping..so this was in the works long before Putin went in.
I don’t often praise you on these threads….but that’s funny!
