About 90% of such tomatoes grown would rot in the field because vendors would buy only about 10%.
I agree with you but at least Trump spent his money on Americans, esp the lower classes. Biden spends his money on Wars and windmills.
Walmart green peppers are 82 cents each here in my part of Florida.

Florida home grown tomatoes are fine, I’m sure but the ones they mass grow to sell here in fly over country are worthless.
All uniform sized, uniform bright red and with the consistency of a boiled potato. thick skinned and utterly tasteless.
