This Republican favors neither side. Russia was wrong to invade, but Biden and Ukraine have given him reasons. Sufficient reason, no; but Biden wanted this war. Of that there is no doubt. He wants a place in the history books.

I favor a cease fire and negotiated settlement, NOW!!!

Supplying military weapons and humanitarian aid is one thing. Supplying our cash to pay for Uke government payroll and pensions, not to mention the graft, is another.

Russia was wrong to invade, but Biden and Ukraine have given him reasons.

Biden was too slow to deter the invasion first by saying he would allow a minor incursion then slow to provide tanks and weapons. When Russia was building up they should have loaded the Ukrainian army for bear, so to speak. Russia would not have invaded. Now we are in what might amount to a forever proxy war, until it escalates.

“He is a whining political hack who desperately craves relevancy”

And yet here we are talking about him......sometimes I think we should take a page out of the liberal playbook and blackout and ignore people we disagree with instead of giving them publicly they otherwise wouldn’t get....that especially goes for right leaning media outlets.

Liberals have proven it to be a very effective tactic.....

“weaken our military”

A strong military only encourages a depraved DC to ruin America.

I voted for Trump electors in 2016 and 2020. I want a weak military.

Use the money saved to maintain the Social Security system.

"Supplying our cash to pay for Uke government payroll and pensions, not to mention the graft, is another."

Compound that with the treatment of East Palestine, OH USA among other things, and its a lot worse.

I'm pretty sure its not going unnoticed. And when the same try to use their vote to protest, it doesn't appear to change things, especially the last two elections.

I don't think a 'rally round the flag' gambit is going to work the way Biden's handlers think it will work, despite the best efforts of their mockingbird ancillaries.

Maybe we should all be concerned with the possibility of nuclear war. Biden is taunting Putin and China and is way out of his league since he is demented and becoming senile.

He is a complete retard

The WEFtard is projecting. The whole ukraine thing is a fear mongering exercise trying to make a molehill turf war between two corrupt mafia dons into something that America needs to be panicked about.

Though a nutter he be, he edges closes to some important points. He is correct that media make money by stirring controversy and fear. Kinzinger positions those who oppose war as dangerous fearmongers, 1984-style: War is Good. Peace is Bad. Pundits pushing Biden’s World War 3 are doing it for partisan political reasons. If some media make a few dollars off fear and war-mongering, isn’t dumbass ignoring the billions made by the military-industrial class?

Kinzinger is certainly correct that the US has an absence of leadership.
NO ONE made a case for our decades long policy of pulling Eastern European states into NATO’s orbit to encircle Russia.
NO ONE has made a case for our proxy war in Ukraine against Russia, that the above policy made almost inevitable (Yes Putin and Russia share blame).
NO ONE has explained how spending hundreds of billions is wise or sustainable when the USA is bankrupt.

Yet without any case being made or seriously debated, the US has recently spent over $100 Billion in borrowed funds on a war that few Americans understand. If Ukraine had bowed to Russia’s will without a war, and given them Luhansk and Donetsk, would that have had an effect on Americans’ lives other than the small percentage with Ukrainian relatives and ancestors?
Would the energy crisis that is driving world inflation, creating vast misery in Europe, bankrupting our allies and ourselves, and creating an international food crisis have occurred?

Americans are allowing this crap to happen without debate. Were these issues mentioned in the 2020 election? 2022? Biden can’t “make the case to the American People” now, because there is no case to be made, other than that now we “can’t let Russia win”. Russia attacking Ukraine simply never was a crisis for the United States. But leadership doesn’t matter, because we do not have a democracy. The public has become irrelevant to what the government does, and the government laughs in our faces about it.

Because he is stupid.

Latest poll shows only 17% of Republicans support supporting Ukraine in a major way.

They have a contingent here.
