What the hell is wrong with leaving the headquarters right where it’s at? If you want to move it, move it to a red state not a blue craphole.

Spying on Americans requires lots of building space

The FBI doesn’t need a new building.

They need to be severely downsized, and the political operatives punted into the Potomac.

Put it in Guam, where it might tip over.

Florida would be a nice place for the FBI... far away from DC in so many ways.

There is no need for a new FBI HQ. The FBI needs to be shuttered.

They need to put it somewhere like Laredo, TX right on the bridge to Mexico.

Congress should mandate that the new FBI HQ be built in either Kansas or Nebraska. Anywhere except the Washington D.C. Area.

Maryland and Virginia are to close to the politics of D.C.

Works for me. El Paso, TX or Yuma, AZ (San Luis) are also loaded with cross border crime. They’d have plenty to do there. The tiny village of San Luis has one of the largest post offices in the country. Almost every Mexican south of the border has a mail box there to get their various government checks.

FBI needs to be relocated to an abandoned steel mill in Gary Indiana. With no budget for redecoration.

The capital should rotate between states and areas. Every state should have to tread water with the boat anchor for a while. You want the benefits and power of being part of the federal machine, fine. Pursue them as a rootless gypsy living in a mobile tent city.

The FBI is already in their second building, I remember going to the FBI when it was in its first building and taking the tour.

And I remember my neighbor who was a cement finisher worked on 495, the Kennedy Center, the FBI building, and the Metro System in DC. He was a union man, and that was his entire career right there. Hard-working son of a gun.

The FBI has significant training facility down there on the Quantico Marine base. I’m sure they would be leasing the property or an MOU.

Lots of good suggestions but I like the border cities idea for all upper management positions.
