Yeah, isn’t that weird? I remember Lycos and Excite too. I mean the 2000s are already retro now.
Yahoo is worthless. The only thing of value they have is their stock market section... and even that has become dogshite. They should do an Elon Musk and sack 80% of the workforce from the top down, and just keep the 20% who know how to code.
Inktomi was a good search engine. Yahoo bought it for $1.25 a share after the bubble burst. Then promptly shelved the code.
Fond memories. But they are history now.
Lots of burger flipping jobs available.
Yah-Who?
Get woke ... go back to living in Mommy and Daddy’s basement!
Yahoo used to be my default website for at least a decade. I hardly ever visit it now. Every now and then, I’ll look at Yahoo Finance. But even in that is a shadow of its former self.
Ask Jeeves.
I remember Yahoo.
Yahoo’s comment section does not work well. If someone replies to you and you click on the link to view, it will momentarily popup then go to the first comments of the article. They write articles saying there is a video when there is no link to it. It happens all the time!
The majority of the comments are conservative with a smattering of liberal loons. The loons always attack the normal people and never can defend the democrat party. It is always a personal attack.
Number 1 issue is the hatred their writers have for conservatives, aka normal people and the USA and their love for all things related to the democrat party.
My brother is a long time programmer at yahoo sports—hopefully he’s yes in the 20% of useful employees there!
BUT Biden’s UNEMPLOYMENT numbers will DECREASE !!!
