“Should” is the operational word, and this is a Government Operation, not an American Operation.

“ Rep. Troy Nehls to Newsmax: Before Long, Zelenskyy Will DEMAND Biden and EU send Troops.”

There. I fixed it for you.

Re #9. Do that and you can kiss the democrats goodbye. Ukraine is worse than Vietnam and no way resembles Iraq. Congress, especially the HOR, would not fund it.

Where are all the anti-war protesters?

Raytheon's CEO stated on one of the alphabet news orgs. that Raytheon had depleted 5 years' worth of Javelin inventory and 13 years' worth of Stinger inventory, due to US MIL supplying Ukes.

Some of the Stingers may be returned to the US in a painful way.

We had men in Vietnam in WWII, and then Truman put advisors there in 1950, Eisenhower kept them for both terms, and they were still there in 1963 when JFK sent 16000 troops over.

Russia had all kinds of military and advisors in Korea and Vietnam.

Advisors don’t mean much to the other countries.

Raytheon is doing great and is almost doubling Javelin production and just won a 380 million dollar contract to sell Stingers to the upcoming NATO member Finland.

The Army had already issued a 624 million dollar contract for Stingers in May.

Weapons manufacturing is gearing up in America and the West, and upgrades and replacements are rolling off the lines.

Wars have a couple of general dynamics unless the major participants tightly control state actions. Otherwise wars are like typhoons they escalate upwards in power until they stabilize at a very high force level. Wars also will naturally expand in geographic scope.

Rhat may be true but is is also irrelevant to the dynamics of this war and the interests of the US-NATO alliance.

A very good chance that that will happen at some point.

The minute we send tanks in there, we will have troops there. There will be support personal, and troops in non combat positions like advisors and trainers. LBJ went from this situation to having over 500,000 troops in Vietnam in about a years time. Another Democrat.

I am ready have been for a long time as I live within sight of Kings Bay sub base.

Nukes or no nukes, to get further involved is stupid. One winner here, China. When this is over, one way or the other, they can move west and south east with impunity.

What do we “win” if Russia is pushed out? The prize to rebuild that country? We are already bankrupt. How about the flip side of that, Russia wins? At that point we have diminished war materials and complete loss of faith by our cohorts. A couple more countries signed on today to the BRICs. We are being marginalized every day and like the proverbial frog in the heating pot cannot see it.

The end of the Afghan adventure is already forgotten. As long as the only people involved are the regulars, Guard and Reserves not many outside those communities will care much. I lived through Viet Nam and was a soldier. The left made a huge amount of noise for political reasons. None of this touched most of America. My late wife was struggling as a single mother and becoming a hospital tech and then working and starting a four year degree program told me she paid no attention to Viet Nam or later Watergate, her friends and family the same except for one of her sisters who had a brother-in-law killed in Nam. Even then this was very perfunctory in its impact and his brother seemed to take a ‘so sad, too bad, now back to work ‘ approach. Most people could care less what happens outside their narrow framework of daily life. Not a new thing either. Wife’s aunt had her first husband killed on Okinawa. Guy was a true hero, awarded Silver and Bronze Star posthumously. Auntie could care less. Guy’s name virtually never mentioned, remaried quickly, after the war the Army inquired if she wanted his remains returned to the US for interment. Nope, so he is buried in the Punchbowl on Oahu. No one has ever visited his grave and , to my knowledge no flowers were ever ordered on Memorial Day or his birthday, etc. ‘That be too expensive, we be poor.’ So don’t expect average Americans to be upset unless they have to put up with gasoline rationing or something that disrupts the flow of their everyday life

Of course it's relevant - there's been no declaration of war by the US nor Nato. Further this is not our war to fight though Biden and this admin obviously want it so.

It has also been admitted by the DoD that we are dangerously low on supplies of: 155mm Artillery Pieces, 155mm Artillery shells, Javelins, Stingers and HIMARS. They have pretty much all been given away to Ukraine

A lot of men who feel physically and morally weak compensate for these feelings by becoming vocal cheerleaders for war, but always send other people’s kids to die in them, while they strut around feeling strong.
