IIRC, the “victim” said something vile to the man’s 12-year-old, and in response the defendant gave the man a shove. The FBI then came after the defendant in full SWAT-style force at his home. This is a prime example of lawfare to intimidate opponents. Neither side originally acted with perfect grace, but this should never have been a legal matter to begin with.
