Well, I settled into bed and was just drifting into that deeper mode of sleep, almost REM, and my phone pinged. Jake again, I guess.

So I got up and came out here and just barely sat down and FS sent me a text.

Funny how that seems to always happen.

My nose keeps leaking but other than that, I don’t feel ill. Just cold.

No plans for today, except maybe sending some cards out, if my hands cooperate, and the neuropathy isn’t too bad. Maybe the Other Folks will ask me to go to Walmart with them. Ha-ha.

Good morning. Not bad, thanks, and I feel better today than yesterday. I have choir later, and then we’ll see. DP and I have tickets to an orchid show at the university, but whether he’ll want to go depends on the weather. The tickets were only $5.

An orchid show? That might be rather interesting! I think I’m going to finish watching the first two episodes of the 12 season of Vera. That will be my “highlight of the day.”

Now though, I think I’m going to get dressed. It’s 30° out so the heat pump is really working. By the time it gets to this side of the room, the air is cold. My hands are always frozen.
