Spincaster, the Undead Thread is called such becasue it’s been in existence in one form or another since 2004, when we took the original to the end of the Interwebs, or 65000+ posts.
We used to hijack troll threads, because we needed them as fuel for our space outings, which Nicknamedbob can tell you about. (The threads are all safely tucked away on his home page, if you’d care to read. But you’ll have to take in in small doses...)
You’re most welcome to join us, if you’d care to, and some of us post our Wordle scores daily. We don’t have as many followers as we did in the beginning, but some, sadly, have passed away, and others don’t have the time. It has become a general chat thread now, but if that’s something you do, then by all means, join us! We’d love to have you!

By the way. I just remembered I won’t have this laptop from 1600 today until Sunday morning, when I get back from church. I’m going to try and get the little purple travel laptop to work, but it can’t accept any updates, so I don’t know if it will be any good.

To all of T-c’s Kitteh people: I’m supposed to be providing the kittehs this weekend, but my regular laptop is “in the shop” and this one is old and won’t let me do things. I’m supposed to have the other one back this afternoon and if it shows up on time, I’ll post a floof!

Looks like I won’t be posting a Wordle this morning.... :o[
I feel as though I’m in Coventry! I’m only getting the basics from any website because (I guess) I’m having to use my phone as a hotspot.
For whatever reason, this little travel laptop isn’t doing the job it once did and won’t even let me hook up to my own Wi-Fi.
It’s so bad, in fact that I feel good being able to be on FR! And to add to the angst, it’s 29 degrees outside!
What is happening? the site won’t load properly for you?
The laptop I normally use is “in the shop” (a friend is doing a “refresh”) and I’ve had to drag out the laptop I usually use when I travel.
When I first booted up, it asked if I wanted to “reset” and without reading everything that entailed, I said yes. It wiped out my entire Favorites file and each app I had a shortcut to.
As a result, it wouldn’t let me access my own router, and I finally had to use my phone as a hotspot in order to even get online. I hate doing that, but I’m very glad I pay for that option, now. I kept thinking I should remove it, but decided to leave it. ;o]
So I’ve spent almost three hours just trying to access FR, my email and even Facebook to get in touch with my family members around the country. I can only really access FR and my email.
Photos won’t load, websites won’t allow me to access anything more than current info and I think this is going to be one of the most boring weekends I’ve spent in a lot of years! LOL!

Nope. Nothing with the Wordle link and no videos with the golf link. Even my Facebook feed is “basic.”
I’ll just have to wait and hope he brings the big laptop back soon. His wife said Sunday and he said Saturday. When he brings that one back he’s going to take this one and “fix” it, though there is no time frame for this one. He may have it for me at church tomorrow, or later in the week.
Unngh.
