This is insanity on multiple levels.
For buyers they are getting a high priced, short ranged, fad that takes hours to recharge & is a fire hazard.
For the auto makers, they are spending a fortune retooling for a market that doesn’t yet exist & may never exist.
For the nation, we are putting all our energy “eggs” in one basket; a basket that can be destroyed in minutes with a few well placed EMP blasts. A sane national energy policy would be encouraging ALL energy sources to return to energy independence.
