Trump is playing a dangerous game by getting involved in this vote.
He only needs to alienate a part of the GOP base and he will get slaughtered
In 2024.

if they are not happy with him, they can do something about it at a later dateNo, now is the time to extract reasonable demands from him, nothing will ever happen "later".

McCarthy is the one playing a dangerous game, if he won’t even promise to get a border bill on to the floor.

getting the deal done Making deals with communists got us where we are today. Making deals works great when all parties to the deal stand to gain from it. Only communists benefit from making deals with communists.

Oh, Donald. That’s exactly what the Deep Staters tell us. Put your principles aside for now, and take the easy way out. We’ll fix things later.
Except that this “later” never comes.

This isn’t a game. True conservative, patriotic, America-first people have had enough of the RINO kabuki theater b.s. There is no point in NOT fighting this battle now. McCarthy is just another establishment RINO. We’ve all seen this movie before, and we’re not interested in another showing.
I think many of us remember Paul Ryan all too well.

It feels like President Trump is now standing against all of the brave American patriots that he helped create. This is a bad look - I guess 4 years in Washington rubs off on just about everyone.

What exactly is so dangerous? I’m fine with the House being shuttered. If McCarthy is speaker, all they will do is remove more of our freedoms, spend more money we don’t have, and regulate businesses out of existence. That’s what happened when McCarthy was speaker the last time. McCarthy didn’t support Trump, and more importantly, he did not do the things MAGA voters wanted. He’s nothing more than a POS Democrat.
How’s that border wall working for you, Kevin?

Exactly, does Trump remember how he endorsed McConnell and now bad mouths him all the time. We don’t need to wait for 4yrs to get rid of McCarthy, no time like the present.

Trump is on a roll, he has alienated the Pro Life folks and now this, Trump can’t get out of his own way.

I have no confidence in President Trump as a personnel manager. That's his Achilles heal.

I’m not a fan of George Will. But years ago he said something that I agreed with. I don’t remember the exact wording, but it went something like this:
People talk about government gridlock like it’s a bad thing. They’re wrong about that. Government gridlock is, in general, a good thing.

I’ve watched him since he came to leadership.
He has done nothing.
