Unfortunately for those yahoos, they’ll serve time in a Federal Prison, no parole. If they had just stuck to breaking and entering, even if they were caught, they probably would have been freed on no bail or minimal bail and likely been sentenced to probation.

I think there was a similar story about a smash & grab last week where the perps did about 100 times the damages versus the cost of the goods they stole. Seems like a sign of the times. Everybody’s ready to burn down the bakery to get at the crumbs you might find in the rubble.
