back in April, Z said he’d ‘look into’ video evidence of Ukes killing POWs. He must not have looked enough because there are reports every month same old same old. These are mostly Russians who voluntarily surrender. Not to be outdone, Russia is doing the same. Otoh, Russia isn’t asking the world to fund their atrocities. Until Z’s forces comply with the Geneva Convention, there’s not a lot of empathy to be had. Z should have been confronted by Congress, not given our flag. And, he should face the Hague same as any other commander (including Russians) who authorizes or pretends not to notice war crimes.
The breathless cheerleading by Western media is appalling. Strategically, this war was over months ago. The occasional Ukrainian tactical pin-prick attack get top billing. Send more money to our $ laundry!
Many have really fallen for all the propaganda.
The publicly stated objectives were simply PR rationalizations. Putin’s true war objective was to overthrow the Ukrainian government and replace it with a puppet regime that would agree to the eventual annexation of Ukraine by Russia. He has not achieved this.
