While I really despise most of our current crop of Republicans, the sad fact is that Nancy Pelosi controlled the House with an iron fist and the Senate Democrats had a majority in the Senate with too many Republicans willing to collaborate rather than filibuster

Democrats would have rammed through anything they wanted all by themselves.

Sucks to be us, but the sad fact is that this is what happens when you lose.

He has told the Senate that if they pass this Omnibus, they will block every piece of legislation that comes from the Senate.

That's going to be a real hit with the American people.

Sorry but by now I don’t trust almost ANY Republican...even...or especially Chip Roy.
Don’t forget that he was one of the first out of the box after Jan. 6 to condemn Trump (when all he had to do was keep his mouth shut).

You know the Democrats hate you and are your enemy.

It is always a bit irritating when the Republicans stab you in the back.

When it comes to graft, there’s enough for everyone. Between ideology or greed, everyone has a price. Ethical concerns or considering what’s best for America are irrelevant these days.

HERE ARE THE 21 GOP VOTING FOR THE MONSTROSITY
...
Portman

I will not rest until Ohio Senator Portman is out of the Senate (and probably in a multi-million dollar lobbying job tomorrow). Thanks for one final backstabbing of America on your worthless way out.

Wow, I’ve been pretty impressed with some of what Chip Roy has been saying, but I was unaware that he supported impeachment of Trump. Are there ANY good Republicans at this point? Tom Cotton is another one that I thought was a good guy, but he has gone over to the dark side. Josh Hawley maybe? He still sounds good as far as I know, but who knows....

The charges against President Trump are shaky, so why not wait and let voters make the call?

He HAS called for the Impeachment of Poser Biden and the DHS.

Looks like he suopported the Jan. 2021 impeachment which I find to be highly reprehensible.

Well...talk about convoluted....he didn’t support the Jan impeachment (and, voted against) it....for the reason it was brought up. Here’s why he so weasily supported it....unreal...

...WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Chip Roy supports impeaching President Donald Trump but not, it turns out, on the grounds the House Democrats came up with – inciting insurrection.

Taking a nuanced position, Roy, who represents a Central Texas district and lives just outside Austin, did not join the 10 Republicans who broke ranks and voted Wednesday to impeach Trump for a historic second time, but he also gave a scathing evaluation of Trump.

“The president of the United States deserves universal condemnation for what was clearly impeachable conduct — pressuring the vice president to violate his oath to the Constitution to count the electors,” said Roy, who was outspoken a week ago in supporting the presidential electors certified by the states as his constitutional duty.

“His (Trump’s) open and public pressure — courageously rejected by the vice president — purposefully seeded the false belief among the president’s supporters, including those assembled on Jan. 6, that there was a legal path for the president to stay in power,” Roy said from the House floor Wednesday.....

Barf....alert.

And, my apologies to Psychedelic-Surrealist Artist.

Supporting and voting for are two different things...but, not by much!
