“Effing around in what Russia considers their sphere of influence” AFTER Russia had just enlarged said influence by invading Georgia, chopping up civilians with machine gun fire, and posting videos of Russian soldiers burning American flags and saying it was just practice for the USA. I remember the photos and videos vividly. Russia had also threatened Poland for its missile defense systems it got from us.

Evidently, in your anti-American world, the West has no business stopping Russia from attacking its neighbors.

Unfortunately, no one heeded Blairs advice , no one attempted to make Russia nervous about invading any more countries, and instead the world further appeased Russia. Obama pulled purely defensive weapons from Poland due to Russian demands. Meanwhile Russia responded by placing nukes in Kaliningrad. Europe further wedded itself to Moscow, and Moscow responded by blackmailing its neighbors over energy. Mainstream leaders from America to German mocked anyone who said Russia was a threat. And the result was Russia invading another country in 2014.

More inconvenient history you, the pathetic red propagandist, spout on this forum.

I think Putin has a far better idea of strategy than do you and your co-propagandists here.

10 months later into the invasion, and your still a believer in his competency? Congrats

You can't even stop America from invading whoever they want to invade. What on earth makes you think the Russians are going to pay any mind to a bunch of hypocrits.

I have a simple view of all of this. NOT MY CIRCUS.

“Not my circus”

And yet you’re a monkey in that circus spreading lies on behalf of the evil empire, all because Diaper Man Bad is President. The ultimate display of being a worthless dumb Muppet.

Excuse me but you do realize that once Ukraine goes down, Poland is next followed by country after country. Please tell me you were rooting for hitler back in the day. Same scenario.

Kaliningrad is in Russia, Poland is nowhere near the US.
Tell me when Russia is going to lecture you on what should be and what shouldn’t he on the US soil.

Ialingrad IS Russia. But is far from being “in” Russia.

Kaliningrad borders NATO. And in fact Russia constantly lectures us and Europe on such things.

It completely contradicts whatever silly point you were trying to make. While Russia demands the West disarms, and in fact gets what it wants such as Obama pulling missile defenses from Poland, it unilaterally puts Nukes a short distance from the capitals of Poland, Germany, etc. And when we complained, Russia basically said we could go screw ourselves. In such a universe, there’s no reason to appease your masters in Moscow or care about your complaints, vatnik.

LOL. Russia didn’t position itself against NATO, it is NATO that surrounded it.
“Defensive” missiles are VLS technology which is primarily an offensive weapon.
Having nukes in Kaliningrad is very handy to quickly neutralize them if needed.

No. it isn’t the same. You’re pulling out that same tired Hitler analogy. I am not rooting for either side. I am rooting for my own country, the USA, which has zero interests in this war.
