Hey! Beats the “Why did Bob Dylan hate the Beatles?” threads. I’d much rather read about guns than read some Freeper who incessantly posts his useless meandering blogs in “News.” (Which always necessitates a mod having to move it to “blogs.”)
“This is why polar bears should not have revolvers.”
Preserve your right to arm bears.
‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do you, punk?”
And on that day the price of a S&W M-29 went out of sight! All I could afford was a Ruger Blackhawk. 3 screws at that.
Could have been on a tropical island...
Just ask Sawyer...

I managed to pick up an S&W Model 29 no dash and a Model 629 over the years but they are safe queens. I live in black bear country and carry a S/A Virginian Dragoon .44 magnum when I am around the property.
My son-in-law was cleaning out my mother-in-laws gutters this fall and while up on the ladder by himself heard a bear in the woods behind him grunting and carrying on. All he had was a Taurus G2 in 9mm. He fired a round into the ground and the bear moved on. He bought a house about 6 miles from us and is having bear issues. Long gun wise he’s fine, AR15 and a .12 gauge Mossy500 to deal with it. My daughter asked if they could borrow a .357 magnum for the house. I loaned them a S&W Model 65 with hunting loads. I wouldn’t want to face a bear with anything less than a .357.
However, the polar bear should not have continued breathing for so long.
Lots of meat on the polar bear. It was probably wasted in the movie/show.
Yeah, I believe it. The way he says it is just so funny....
yeah, same guy played Eddie Mustafa in The Enforcer. Harry wasn’t .....how shall we say......politically correct. Clint knew the streets and who was who...:)
I ran into a guy with a Smith .44, and asked if I could check it over. The frame was marked Mod. 57. I said your bought this in the early 70’s didn’t you? Sure enough.
