Typically, at least in this war, the Russians use the TOS-1A’s towards the end when taking a town or city. We’ll see if this is the case here.
I saw them using this in another video, but what everybody was shocked about was what a short range weapon it appeared to be. As soon as it fired it was destroyed by a bunch of Ukrainian artillery because it was so close in to the targets it was trying to hit.
Stalin used systems much like this to pound the Germans, they called them Stalin’s organs...Lined up trucks with rocket launchers for 2-3 miles and let them fly. These rockets made a distinctive howling sound which terrified the German troops, adding a psychological warfare aspect the battle.
Many FR threads on their use and development back when.
But ... but ... but Ukraine winning send money?
Those here who have completely bought into Biden’s war from the beginning have been fantasizing that the Russians are losing this for months. The Russians stated out trying not to do a great deal of damage to their fellow Slavs infrastructure etc... But thanks to the hundreds of $$$Billions being spent to prop up the corrupt Zelinski regime what we are now going to witness the country being completely reduced to rubble, and who knows how many Ukrainians and Russians being killed.
Of course, a sizable percentage of the $$$Billions being spent is making it back into the pockets of Democrat politicians until recently laundered through FTX, etc... Believe me when that boondoggle went bust another took its place.
It was never about the Ukrainians.
Russian propaganda.
>> It was never about the Ukrainians.
^^^^^ THIS
Then why have they been shooting at the Ukrainians for 10 months?
The modern version of the Katyusha are the Grad and Uragan rocket systems that are in widespread use on both sides. Indeed, such weapons have been ubiquitous in modern wars since the 1950s, to such a degree that they are considered a standard type of field artillery in most modern armies.
The TOS-1 is a special case. Its also an MRL, but one with a rather narrow tactical use case.
You miss the point, which is not surprising, since you WANT to miss the point.
That video was likely staged. Even the Russian army is unlikely to risk having a war correspondent killed from a high chance of return fire. You do not want to be near a loaded TOS-1 when it gets blown up!
Anything “reported” by the UK Daily Mail should be taken with a grain of salt.
I thought we were using Daisy Cutters on the entrances..
I wish the entire population of the city of Washington (District of Congo) were shipped to Ukraine to become canon fodder for the Russian missiles, instead of using the Ukraine civilians for those targets.
Biden will sacrifice every last Ukraine father, mother and child to appease the degenerate pedophile GloboHomo New World Order.

Exactly, little mention by the western fake msm about yesterday’s MASSIVE missile attack on more than a dozen Ukie targets. The largest so far. It doesn’t take a genius to realize Vlad has not run out of missiles, artillery, ammo, etc…
Vlad is finally taking his gloves off, in fact the vast majority of Russians are upset he didn’t go in in February with much more. Do remember a few short months ago Vlad had stated they have not even started- he was laughed at- who’s laughing now?
Expect Vlad to fully open his toolbox, MORE supersonic cruise missiles, more S400’s, more thermobaric weapons , …..the turning point will be when he finally destroys the dozen or so bridges across the Dniepner, effectively cutting Ukraine in half, then the carving up of Ukraine will begin….it’s coming and there is nothing the West can do about it.
The trouble with the TOS-1A is it only has a short range (10km) and in easily taken out.
