...what makes you think the Court is serious about the case?

Rule 11.

Vietnam was lost and never had a chance for the USA to be successful because policymakers didn’t do their homework on the situation. They really didn’t know or understand the situation on the ground in the villages all across Indochina and especially in the Tonkin, Annan, and southern regions that are now what makes up Vietnam. How well did they study and learn the lessons of the foreign invaders throughout history from India, Japan, Thailand, French, and others - especially China and I put the emphasis on China. Communism was and still is just a blip on the radar of the collective mindset of the Vietnamese. Its really hard for Americans to understand this mindset. Its very different from American culture. Even now, though Vietnam has gone through huge changes the past 36 years, the mindsets are still very different and difficult for Americans to understand. The USA never should’ve gotten involved in Vietnam if the supermajority of members in both Houses of Congress didn’t have a very solid and thorough understanding of these differences and perspectives. Well this is just my perspective as an American who has spent more time in Vietnam since Trump was elected than I have in the rest of the world and its been eye-opening to learn about this different and interesting culture. I’m still very glad I’m an American (if we exclude the 31 trillion debt and anti-Constitutionalists).

Now on Brunson - I agree with you that it will with high probability. But, some on this thread were holding out false hopes and being frankly dishonest about it.

When a case is ridiculous and has no chance of being heard, the defendants don’t waste their time responding. As their WAIVER says, they will IF the court specifically wants one. And it seems the court does not.

“Rule 11” doesn’t turn horse poop into roses.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.

“Rule 11” doesn’t turn horse poop into roses.

That is one astute argument.

Right! The smell just points out the manure in the garden soil that no rose's aroma can ever cover.

Nice analogy.

Yeah, saw that. Thanks for the link.

Brunson Brothers say they’re not done, they’re moving forward with other actions. They said before they didn’t expect SCOTUS to play ball. Now they’re going ahead with plans yet to be revealed.

That was my thesis. Nov 2020 and 2022 are laying down markers for history. Courts are and never were battleground.
