One more time. Repealing Roe v Wade did not make abortion illegal. It gave authority over abortion “to the states respectively or to the people” as required by the Constitution. If Steinem’s state wants abortions to be legal then she is free to get one. She can even move to another state where they make laws to her liking.

Yes, a Representative Republic is not actually a Democracy.
By definition, a republic is a representative form of government that is ruled according to a charter, or constitution, and a democracy is a government that is ruled according to the will of the majority. Although these forms of government are often confused, they are quite different.

When you don’t have a Republic, and the above features are present, you have Fascism. In Fascism an elite group of people and companies decide for everyone and create a working slave group. That means free speech, religion, right to bear arms, fair trial, illegal search and seizures, all rights gone. Democrats did this, people whose single agendas became more important than the Republic’s survival. Democrats did the same thing the NAZI’s and Antifa did to the German Republic.
