When the GOP holds the House by seven to ten seats, it is a “slim majority” which shows that Americans want “bi-partisanship” in which the GOP compromises and leftist policies must be allowed to pass with GOP cooperation.
When the Democrats hold the House by five or six seats, it is a political mandate showing that America has fully endorsed the policies of the left and the GOP has no seat at the table.
It is a “heads you win, and tails I lose” proposition.
It is frustrating, but we do need to know what the left is currently promoting.
The problem is that a lot of those commenting just make pithy remarks on the article without providing facts that dispute the left’s current narrative.
There are not many sites that still allow comments and most of those are behind a paywall so it is hard to go to leftist sites and try to provide facts that show that an article’s narrative is based upon incorrect date. For instance, I refuse to spend money to subscribe to the WaPo or NYT’s although I see many articles there on which I could comment and show how wrong they are. The sites’ commenters though just drink the kool-aid and parrot the left’s narratives without any push-back from others.
Many still believe the Russia/Trump collusion because they have not been provided any information to tell them otherwise. They still think Hunter Biden’s laptop is Russian disinformation or just about “dick” pics.
I’m not sure what we can do. The left has taken over all institutions and conservatives have been abandoned by the GOP leadership. FR has become more of just a community of those abandoned by that leadership and are not sure how to go about getting representatives more in line with our values, since voting certainly hasn’t worked thus far.
Did McCarthy win over Marjorie Green the same way he did Trump supporter Renee Elmers?
Former Rep. Renee Ellmers announces she’s running for Congress five years after losing her primary amid allegations she had an affair with Kevin McCarthy
