Trump “does not listen.”
So-called progressives dicarded due process, in their cancel culture attacks - and against Trump.
But Trump, who had the opportunity to stand up for due process, on principle, for Americans, for the actual rule of law: the enumeration of powers that limit gov’t and gov’t agents . . . Trump only managed to focus on how *he* was personally affected by gov’t not respecting due process.
That is the same failure by gov’t, to respect due process, that has increased the enmity of people and numbers of people who are both frustrated by, and becoming more fearful of (and then some are angry about), gov’t abusing power *because gov’t can.*
Gov’t making false charges, because gov’t can. A major problem that Trump only saw as it affects Trump.
Freerepublic has become a cesspool of hate for Trump.

Answer to gripes about Trump and the constitution.
It’s not just the disregard of the constitution .. They are also lawless.
The dems and the left side of government have gone off the road and the republicans have let them.
They stole an election, with very little objection.. They put a man in the highest office, incapable of leading ..made us vulnerable .. Economy took a dive.
With the rabid left, there is no constitution and no laws to stop them from turning this country from great and free, to socialism .. Communism.
When Trump came into the picture, their corruption was no longer their weapon for control. They lost their cover.. They overthrew the constitution and laws..
Their aim, at any cost, was to remove Trump. All safeguards were tossed .. Hells bells reigned.
The primary reason Trump meets with Ye and Truths outrages statements is to separate MAGA supporters from soy boy complainers. And it works to perfection.

Trump didn’t have to walk in to a saw mill... He had a comfortable life.
His family has been attacked.. He has lost $$ in this venture.. Yet he has not quit.. It hurts to see those who are trading him in for an unproven one.

Eventually, if he traps enough of his supporters, there won’t be enough left to get elected. Dinner with Fuentes, even if it was a trap, is the kind of thing that drives away a lot of grassroots support.Democrats and RINOs think the end justifies the means. Do you really think trapping Kudlow justifies that dinner?
If Trump didn’t know what he was doing having dinner with Fuentes then either his staff is incompetent(which is on him), or he isn’t listening to his competent staff(which is on him). If he did know, and was doing it as a “trap”, then it still reflects poorly on him.

Trump doesn't need voters and he is more than willing to shed the weak and spineless. Trump needs an honest vote and as far as I can see Trump is doing everything he can to get an honest vote, hopefully by 2024. Kari Lake also needs an honest vote and she is also doing everything she can to get an honest vote. It takes time to defeat a cabal.

What facts am I missing? What was gained by that dinner that offset the losses?
By itself, it’s just a straw. Easily fixed with “I fired X for not warning me”, or “I screwed up by not listening to X when they tried to warn me.”
But the straws are piling up. And they have been piling up even faster since the midterms. Eventually for each voter the camel’s back will break. Trump needs to start working on removing straws, not adding them. He is losing voters that want to give him the benefit of the doubt. At the current rate, it will be Trump and Biden in 24. I’ll vote for Trump, but Biden will probably win and maybe even legitimately this time.
It makes me very sad to say that President Trump has expended the remainder of his political capital. At this point he’s become a liability.

Trump spent 4 years proving himself, and you got on the bandwagon of doubt and believing the reports.
