I seem to remember instances of natural gas leakages recorded before the Industrial age. Delphi, home of the famous Oracle, was one of them. Do they intend to regulate natural occurrences?

Diaries from Sour Lake Texas (southeast corner near Spindletop) record kids going out in the morning and lighting the crawdad holes and watching them flare off the natural gas.
