In a way, yes/kind of. The social media used to have integrity and a belief of telling the truth as best as they had it. But social media has now changed their honor and ethics to the American greenback. So they go where the headlines are fed to them and then when it all comes down to it, picks out someone to blame and polarizes them. And they will ride that train until the steam runs out.
You threw the flameout at the media. I don’t feel they are the reason for the ability to collapse. They are no smarter than the people as they are just one the tools. If you have the chance to look at how the failure started, follow the trail.
Who has the control of the feeding of everything? The government by rules they make. (convenient, huh?) Who feeds the government? Half half here as the government has learned to, also, feed itself. Ah, but, who is the government? The government is a disease that catches the unwary voted in politicians that have an agenda for themselves anyway. And our system feeds it by allowing everyone to speak...kind of. Some are made louder on purpose as that’s where the money comes from. “Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel...”
So, between your media, the education system dumbing them down, the crowding at the top of the money line by the infected politicians, and the lack of concern about who is going to feed the public, the voters are either too stupid as they have been told they are till they believe it, so they act accordingly. It is a wonder we have lasted this long. But if we don’t break the chain, it won’t be much longer. Soon we will be someone else if we aren’t already.
