I hate to say it, but the courts can’t do it, legislation can’t do i....so how’s he going to do it?

He obviously cannot do anything unless elected and he cannot get elected with the current corrupted system.... so... what is he talking about?

Perhaps the biggest failing of Trump was his non-reaction to the falsifications of the 2018 midterms, this set the course for much worse 2020 and 2022.

President Donald J. Trump outlined his “National Greatness Agenda”>>> I like the “More Perfect Union “ Slogan.

“We will do whatever it takes to bring back honesty, confidence, and trust in our elections,” Trump declared. “To eliminate cheating, I will immediately demand voter ID, same-day voting, and only paper ballots. … And we want all votes counted by election night.”

OK, he can demand it. But it's not going to happen. Voting laws in each state are set by that state's legislature - how is Trump going to change voting laws for each state which currently allows vote-by-mail?

I don't think it's going to be possible to get that toothpaste back in the tube. There's no way (for example) that California, under a Democrat legislature and Democrat governor, is ever going to abolish vote-by-mail and ballot harvesting tactics. Either Trump (or DeSantis or whoever) puts together an effective ballot harvesting machine to compete with the Democrats, or we lose in 2024.

The STATES, not the feds, are constitutionally in charge of the vote of each state.

All kinds of Legislative Acts (Voting Rights Act) and Judicial Rulings would kind of disagree with what you are stating.

> Too bad you didn’t change the election laws when you were President. <

It’s good that Trump is talking about this. But yeah, you’re right. The GOP had the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives for two years (2017 and 2018). That’s a lot of time to get things done.

Yet nothing was done about voter fraud. I’ll assign roughly 1/3 of the blame to each institution. Will 2024 be any different?

DeSantis can do this too and has the great benefit of experience in creating the template and executing it on the state level.

He will never beat the vote fraud again. He should have done this when he was president. Instead he back down. And no, this comment does not mean that I would not support him.

so how’s he going to do it?

Bully pulpit to get people behind him, then pressure governors to enact.

I know. Democrats want that John Lewis bill passed so badly. but they know they can’t get away with it because each state runs their own election. so I’m not sure this is gonna be something that could be done.

Yeah That’s great. Two more years of Biden judges will make things worse.

Yes but those Legislative Acts (Voting Rights Act) and Judicial Rulings kinda violates the Constitution which is the Supreme Law of the Land OVER the feds (US Cont., Art. VI, Cl. 2).

Stop supporting the unconstitutional acts of government (AKA “tyranny” AKA “Deep State” AKA “The Swamp”) which has brought America to the brink.

What we DON’T need is unconstitutional federal interference
in our decentralized state-by-state voting process.

*********

That has been going on for many years and over the time the
Feds have gotten involved in much of the local gov’t and
how people live.

Think back to 1492 and how the land called USA has changed
over that time. The gov’t/rulers along the way have made the
changes and the populace has accepted them. It even took a
Civil War to get the point across.

It's constitutional if one can demonstrate that the lack of voter ID and the use of machines are abridging people rights to a republican form of government.

I believe the answer to that is, of course yes.

Well, that's the crux of this culture war we are in right now: the battle to restore our constitutionally-protected God-given liberty and freedoms
