Couldn’t the “coco” name be a reference to cocaine as in Cocaine Mitch?
If I remember correctly, the boat that had cocaine on it was from his wife’s dad’s shipping company.

Coco Chanel was a Nazi spy during World War II. Mitch’s wife is Chinese, so Trump is making the reference to point out she’s a Chinese spy. That’s all.

Designer Chanel's first name was Coco. Usually there's something reason for the nicknames he gives people so maybe the money laundering in the Ukraine has something to do with it.
I looked because I recalled some WWII scandal about Chanel - PBS article reminds me her lover said she was a Nazi informant and sympathizer

Trump’s just getting his pet foods and breakfast cereals mixed up…
Trump is my man and I am supporting him just as I always have, but I swear I wish he would get off that damn name calling. It belittles him more than the one labeled.
One of her family’s ships was stopped with a huge haul of Cocaine on it in Latin America right before Trump began using the phrase.
I usually assume Trump knows stuff we do not, and take it to mean that behind the scenes her family has some relations with the Cartels, or maybe some drug shipper like the CIA, and they pad their income that way.
I’ve gotten a glimpse behind the curtain, and you have no idea the degree to which MS-13, FBI, the Mafia, the Cartels, the CIA, Big Business, Big Media, and the US political scene are all under the same command/management, and working together.
