Well, if this gets appealed up to SCOTUS, Roberts will have a hard time defending any decision to take up the case after having rejected the Texas lawsuit over the 2020 election; a refusal that, from where I sit, effectively ended our republic by enshrining the right of corrupt AGs and courts to ignore their own state laws and constitutions with regard to election procedures.
The response to that should have been either that Texas voted to secede due to breach of contract, i.e., violation of the Guarantee Clause, Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, or Trump as POTUS called forth the militia to defend the Republic since SCOTUS had refused to issue an adjudication on the merits of the case. Unfortunately, neither happened.

Neither of my folks spoke English as a first language. They drilled proper grammar into my siblings and me as a way of distinguishing ourselves in the working world when we grew up. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but now thank God daily for their having done so. My grammar posts aren’t complaints so much as my way of paying my parents’ gift to me forward. God bless, FRiend!

So, if the hand recount shows a big discrepancy, then what?
I am not saying it will, but if it does, then what?
