“I’m sure the media will become friends as well.”
That reminds me of the John McCain strategy when he ran against Obama.
The mass media treated McCain like a punching bag, and he kept getting up from the ground dazed and confused wondering what happened.

Yep, the GOP never learns, they think if they are nice to the Dems/media then the attacks will stop. It’s suicide.

Bizzaro world. We can't have total gridlock for two years? YES WE CAN!
He doesn't want the checks and balances in the Constitution to work as intended. He must be a RINO! NE deserves better than that.

Agreed. I've posted that elsewhere here already. Let's know who's with us, and who the moles are.

Remember that eight out of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach Trump either retired or were defeated in the primaries. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene said that voting against McCarthy would not be a good idea at this time. For a Republican to defect will lead to a high likelihood of an early retirement.
It's early yet. Let's see how many seats the Republicans get in the next Congress. There are about 15 seats still unsettled.

This is crazy. When was the last time Democrats worked with Republicans to choose their speaker? I suspect never.
One truism is that when the Swamp decides to act in bipartisan way, it means they are all screwing us. Without the party labels, the Uniparty can't hide.
