He got little to nothing done against the swamp. He actually dove into it at Warp Speed.

DeSantis was NOT the first choice of the Florida Republican party. That was Adam Putnam just like Trump said... Putnam's a good man and also supported Trump at the time. But Trump chose to back DeSantis. DeSantis became a natural - he might be the best Governor we've ever had.
That said, before Trump our guys (mostly boy scouts) - were spending most of their time 'apologizing' for hundreds of slights democrats condemned them for. Every 'card' worked - the slightest hint from some bimbo and our guys were gone. Same with the race card, the gay card, the 'hurt feelings' card etc etc etc... Fake hate crimes were everywhere, fake sob stories fake outrage...
