But Trump has an answer. He will say something like, He knows what he wants to do, but campaign finance laws prohibit him from saying too much at this point. Then let me put it to you this way. I think you will be VERY HAPPY. Trump doesn’t just stand there in front of the interviewer awkwardly like a robot. Ron needs to work on that.

DeSantis proved a conservative can still win a debate without helping it devolving into a childish food fight. Never give those bastards an inch, never wrestle with a pig, etc...

The debate rules precluded answering questions posed by the other candidate.

“ Because he is not Trump; this guy is just more of the same; ask him his position on Ukraine that will show you what he is...he has no chance against Trump...if he runs against Trump, it will end is political career.”

Calm down there Eeyore. We’re not falling for your attack on DeSantis. It’s obvious you are working for the wrong side. Nobody on our side can be this ignorant.

“Ron needs to work on that.”

I agree. Trump has much more practice avoiding the answer and does it more fluidly.

I don’t at all believe he is being coy for campaign finance law reasons. He is waiting for more political reasons. To see how the mid terms go, etc. He is not running if MAGA candidates don’t do well in a couple weeks.

I hope he decides to support a Ron II run for Prez in 24. Then have Trump run for gov of FL, which is where America needs him more. Trump was at his best when facing off against enemy govts and ‘higher’ govt like the UN and international BS. If a Gov Trump treated the US federal govt like the enemy that it is, then he could finally lead by example.

As FL gov, Trump would have a much better situation than in DC. Friendly legislative branch, more honest judicial, home town roots and no 4yr limit as he’d have as prez. He could be the ass-kicking king of FL till he retires altogether.

DeSantis would (hopefully) be better at guiding coalitions to change the State vs DC power structure from the fed side. Trump mostly failed in that regard.

America is not going to be saved from the top. Power does not surrender itself. We need stronger states. We (R party) already have a majority of govs and statehouses. But they are wimps generally. Trump should put his executive money where his mouth is and lead a states’ rights revolution.

Freer and bolder states are needed to fight the deep state. Ron II is the leader in that regard today. For one, by thumbing his nose at the deep state and protecting kids from the Trump SwampVax.

Prez Ron II could wave the presidential wand and pardon Trump for any leftover garbage at the fed level. Then let Don (part) II, The Govenator, evolve to be the hero of Revolution II - The States fight back.

Don’t compromise. De-centralize.

Yeah, I know. I’m not holding my breath. The plan requires flying on the wings of eagles, but is likely to stumble on the whims of egos.
