The “purists” who fought to defeat Trump in 2016 were not purists at all. They were Uniparty Republicans that wanted to maintain their control of the Republican Party. You can call those of us who want to free the party from their grip “purists” if you like. I’ll wear that moniker as a badge of honor, but I prefer the term “realists” because we’re the ones who have a firm grasp of who the enemy is.

DeSantis is doing great for Florida I will admit (my state government). But he hasn’t prove himself outside of the governor slot (I do get the feeling he will be an Establish Hack if he gets president). DeSantis doesn’t admit the election was stolen, he is a big Jan 6 insurrection supporter, he hasn’t spoken about Biden’s inability to run the country, no mention of Mitch’s failures, all these and more make believe he will be an establishment hack.) Trump has already proven himself with the economy in the world and fighting for what we should believe.
