The people called are prior service reserve. The idiots leaving are liberal artists believing the foreign media who never served.

“More than 300,000 dead - OSINT investigators named real irretrievable losses during the SVO in the Ukrainian army .

The irretrievable losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of October 20, 2022 amounted to 402,000 people , of which 387,000 were killed . Losses among mercenaries and volunteers from Poland, the Baltic States, Romania amounted to 54,000 of them killed 31,240 people. These are the OSINT data , calculated using reports from funeral agencies, extracts from morgues, as well as the results of an analysis of the radio, cellular and satellite exchange of forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The media also report that the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Ukraine allegedly prepared more than 320,000 appeals “about the fate of the missing soldiers”, but the SBU banned them for national security purposes - howeverthese widespread data are not documented . Their source is the statements of a number of members of the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers, made orally and on social networks.

At the same time, these statistics can be compared with the estimates of losses made by the Western military.

In particular, the former deputy head of the US European Command, Stephen Twitty, said in an interview with Linke Zeitung that “ 200 thousand fighters somehow mysteriously disappeared from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and no one will say where they are today.” “The armed forces of Ukraine ... have lost tens and tens of thousands of people killed and wounded , the Ukrainians have paid a terrible price,” said General Mark Milley, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff.

“Ukraine loses 6,000 soldiers every month, that’s 12 times more than America lost in Vietnam,” retired colonel and veteran former Senator Richard Black admitted in his speech . However, during the discussion of his statement, experts came to a more significant figure of 15,000 - 20,000 killed soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine every month.

The estimates of the losses of the armed formations of Ukraine, made by the Russian side, are slightly less. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had “more than 100,000 casualties, with 61,207 dead and 49,368 wounded.” OSINT investigators also assessed Russian losses as comparable to one of the phases of the Chechen campaigns of the 1990s and 2000s. However, statisticianstend to consider the irretrievable losses of Ukraine “close to 300,000 people.”

The losses of volunteer formations at the moment, no matter how accurate it is, cannot be estimated, experts say.”

It’s one thing to be called up to defend Mother Russia from invaders. It’s something else to be called up to illegally invade a neighboring country.

That video was made almost 5 months ago. If things were that bad for the Ukrainian army why hasnt Russia steamrolled over them and taken Kiev by now?

I guess I just don't understand as all members of my family for generations have served. Although I'd have to say I'd have a hard time encouraging them under our current administration....if at all....unlss we were being directly attacked.

Have an Uncle buried in France and A father who died when I was four. So I do know what the price is for serving.

I guess a lot of the draft dodgers who fled to Canada were opting out of LBJ and Nixon’s meat grinder in Vietnam.

Yeah those Germans fighting for Hitler where doing something “sacred”...

Do you feel the same for the Ukrainians serving their country?

The wealthy were able to get their sons out, one way or another. Credence Clearwater - Fortunate Son. But others headed to Canada, which welcomed them.

Unless reincarnation is true, you have one life to live. Why report to some egomaniac’s meat grinder war, that you do not believe in? Russians will not do this, nor will Americans.
And it’s not just about getting killed. How about getting maimed for life? With a colostomy bag or a leg blown off?

Well some Russians obviously are willing to be cannon fodder...misplaced pride of country. They dont seem to get that they are not fighting for Russia, but for a despot.

Ah well, learn the hard way I guess...

“Serving your country is a sacred duty.”

So it was a sacred duty for Germans to serve Hitler?

You said serving your country is a sacred duty.

Does that mean German soldiers had a sacred duty to serve Hitler? Yes or no.

Does that mean that Ukrainians have a sacred duty to serve Zelenski? Yes or no.

You have to understand in the fevered Russian mind that is no such thing as a Ukrainian. Ukrainians are just bad Russians in need of correction. Of course Russians they will deny that at the moment because their only hope at winning is the west cutting off support from Ukraine and such rabidly geocidal talk is not helpful.
