The Club itself can be cut. I was trying to lock mine years ago, was having trouble with it, and a guy stopped me, told me not to bother, and showed me his broken Club.

I guess that I should have added that the top (I guess) just unclips to remove it - but he added bolts to it.

A few years ago I bought some special bolts with a unique head on it that required a special driver for it. The machine shop had maybe 20(?) unique sets so I figured that would slow somebody down. I forget exactly now what it looked like. I’m thinking it had a curved shape to it so one could only tighten it and not loosen it??

My car has an alarm that I know works to immobilize the engine as it happened the first day I owned it.... The car was towed to the dealer who had the alarm guy come out to fix it.

Smart keys / keyless entry are now easily defeated by thieves who have a box they carry that somehow unlocks the car.

Yeah. They make all kinds now. Problem is, they sell the tools to remove them, too. I have a shark vacuum and the manufacturer made it so you couldn't take it apart to clean it well. Little security torx head screws with a post in the middle of the torx part. Bought a set of security torx bits at Amazon for $10. The bits have the matching hole in them to fit over the post in the screw.

I think they're using the HackRF One or something similar. Its a software defined radio that can be used to capture signals and then you can send them back out.
