What a load.
The left is coming at us full-court press on every issue they know they are losing on.
It smells of desperation.
Oh pshaawww..these people are cultists and idiots
One hurricane and chicken little is crying it’s eyes out! Every year it “more than average” number expected. And few show.
If global warming was real would obummer have bought a house on Martha’s Vineyard which could flood?
“a new study found”
Dime a dozen meme please.
A bought a paid for study to communicate what the purchasers desire.
Supercharged?
By how many psi?
🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🐋💨
Nothing in the study to substantiate the headline.
“The US Atlantic coast has become a breeding ground for super-charged hurricanes which are likely to batter coastal communities even harder if the world remains hooked on fossil fuels, a new study found.”
Good God.
At the end of the season, and they trot out this garbage again.
If Ian hadn’t happened - SO LATE - they wouldn’t have had a basis to state this.
Absurd and insane.
Wind is not new
Lemme guess...its because of “climate change” yes? Chuckle.
There’s a solution for the climate change crisis. Defund all parts of government that have anything to do with researching or fixing the climate. 100% of funding for colleges and universities needs to eliminated, that’s not just climate related funding, ALL funding. That money doesn’t even exist, it is printed out of thin air. As soon as money dries up for climate change there will be no more climate change. We need to stop financing problems.
That’s a hell of a study. They looked at fuel usage, and linked that to ocean temperatures, then linked ocean temperatures to increased severity of hurricanes. More likely, they had the intern find two cherry-picked years where the hurricanes trended upwards, and then pocketed the handsome fee.
Anyway, I’m doing my part. I’ve got seven cars and seven motorcycles, and I’m trying to get rid of fossil fuels as fast as I can.
I hate the propaganda system. 1950s had the most named storms.
OH FU*K THEM!
What a pile of horse sh&t.
One of the facts that is causing Hurricanes to be damaging and expensive is population growth in sunbelt coastal areas.
Back in 1992 when hurricane Andrew a Cat 5 storm hit South Florida, approximately 12-13 million people lived in Florida, today approximately 23-24 million, many of those people live in South Florida as close to the coastline as they can afford, primarily on ground that was Swamp Land decades earlier.
Naturally with that many more people living in Florida Coastal areas, any hurricane that lands anywhere in Florida will be a lot more destructive.
Surprised they didn’t use “Ultra MAGA Hurricanes”.
Obviously the only way to fix it, is to require everybody to drive an E.V. and increase your taxes 50%. It’s for future generations dontcha know.
Eisenhower warned us of this in his farewell address, right after the passage where he warned us of the military-industrial complex. Look it up, it is worth the read.
Eisenhower was a very smart and prescient man.
