Had = bad.
“There’s zero evidence of Chinese being persecuted by Ukrainian authorities or even regular people.”
Chinese in Ukraine large cities are/were running restaurants and bringing in cheap Chinese imports. What a big surprise! (Just my opinion)
Maybe they remember:
On May 7, 1999, during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, five U.S. Joint Direct Attack Munition guided bombs hit the People’s Republic of China embassy in the Belgrade district of New Belgrade, killing three Chinese state media journalists and outraging the Chinese public.
No, I don’t. I want our people out of Syria and your goons out of Ukraine.
It’s called consistency.

Sounds like a Chinese mobilization is in the offing, but they want it to be a surprise.

It was sending out Signals so it was automatically targeted.
Chicoms then staged a protest, bussed in thugs to attack and seriously damage the US Embassy in Beijing.
Dozens of countries are telling their citizens who are currently in Ukraine to evacuate. Sounds like a good idea to me. Russia has made it clear that once the ground freezes they are going to go on the offensive. And even now (even as we speak) drone and missile strikes are happening in several Ukrainian city.
November is likely to be very dangerous.
Keeping in mind that the referendums are complete with some Ukrainians choosing to leave those areas which are now considered Russian territory and the people Russian citizens.
Once the people are situated however that plays out , make no mistake if Ukraine fires into those regions that will be taken as an attack against Russia. An it doesn't matter to Russia if other leaders recognize it or not.
It's not surprising Biden has now called for a lowering down of armament to Ukraine at this time. And likely North of the river in Kherson will be let go by Russia so Ukraine can at least say they ‘saved’ that area - while Putin has it's land-bridge protecting it's borer and ports.
BTW this was never about Ukraine - Ukraine has been and will remain the laudromate of corruption it's intended for by our government leaders ....and NATO.
And what of Zaporizhzhia?
Two thirds of the Oblast population chooses to live in the Ukrainian held territory. There’s no way Russia is going to take that over.
A peace settlement may require partitioning of that Oblast, and Kherson oblast.
New Iron Curtain needed with compelling defences on the north/west sides to ensure Russia doesn’t come back for another run.
Sounds reasonable, except that would involve Russia allowing Security Guarantees for Ukraine and Russia keeps insisting NATO provide no No Security Guarantees for Ukraine.
All of that fails also to address the flagrant risk to international stability of rewarding Russia for violating multiple treaties that it created and signed, pledging in perpetuity to respect the borders of Ukraine as confirmed at the end of the Cold War.
Saddam wasn’t allowed to get away with annexation of another country’s sovereign territory. Argentina wasn’t either. There’s literally only one inviolable rule at the UN, and if Russia can break it with impunity then it’s open season everywhere, as soon as a belligerent state looks at a neighbor and decides “nice stuff - we’ll take it”.
That golden rule is there for a reason.
Putin would seize all lands bordering the Northern Black Sea. He would do this tomorrow if he could. Odessa included. He wants to make Ukraine a land locked nation. Ukrainians want all the Black Sea access they can get. They have already lost Crimean Black Sea access to Putin in 2014.
So in any future negotiations, how do you sort this out? Then, if papers are signed, how can you guarantee Ukraine, that Russia will not aggress another day. Five years down the road.
The Golden Rule is in all religions, except for Islam.

Oct 27, 2013 · The fact that Islam is so explicit about the non-humanity of non-Muslims makes a mockery of any “golden rule” under Islam. A golden rule is UNIVERSAL and applies unconditionally. It implicitly recognizes the shared …
You’re assuming that those who will be making decisions will be Ukrainians - they won’t be. It’s not going to be about what Ukrainians want.
And further what makes you think it’ll ever be sorted out or the will is there to do so-obvious it’s not now nor has it been as conflicts have been ongoing there long before Putin went into Ukraine. The problem is Ukraine wants what it can’t have.
They’ll figure it out - they have to or have perpetual conflict in Ukraine as in the past - which Ukrain may settle for. But meanwhile Russia will secure the new Russian Citizens in those areas now annexed and under Russia’s roof now.
Obvious rewarding Russia isn’t in the equation from Russia’s perspective. They fought and ‘resucued’ the people and will secure the land bridge over time.
Wrongo! Any future negotiations will be-—>>
Putin’s Russians vs Ukraine + NATO + USA.
Much to his dismay, faux Tsar Putin learned that Ukraine is not alone. That he would have to wage his war against Ukraine and its allies.
What allies will Putin bring to the negotiating table? None. Maybe some fatso bearded bum Mullahs from Iran? Lil Kim of North Korea? Would he show up?
Stunning that you think Putin looks for allies - anyone who knows Putin knows he acts for his country, alies or not. And we all know that his allies, as well as those who speak with him, don’t always do so publically. He’s not worried about allies.
Ukraine is already slowly loosing it’s support lines. Nobody is going to “fund” Ukraine indefinatly, certainly not in the economic winds they’ve created world wide.
I suspect the EU leaders will do the negotiations along with others. Not Biden nor Zelensky.
Time will tell.
