Fake
Colleges are a mix of people of all kinds. So yeah, anything goes.
My youngest daughter graduated from UC Santa Cruz. She had problems her first year because her dorm-mates were party girls; while all she wanted to do was study and get graduated as soon as possible to hit the job market. Some of the dorm buildings were known as party places, especially the latino dorm building. They didn't focus on studying, and many students would be there for 6 to 9 years before graduating. My daughter requested a switch part-way through the year, joining some jewish girls who wanted to study. Daughter had enough credits after 3 years to graduate, but stayed a 4th at our insistence. Hit the job market and never looked back and did well. Don't let your kids get mixed up with crazies (lots of them on campuses)!
