Paul Ryan is trying to get us to like him.
That “coveted” is sarcasm. It HAS to be.
He is actually smart and a great reporter in the sense of tracking timelines, entities and people.
But he suffers from whatever you call the opposite of TDS. He likes Trump so much it warps his thinking.
There is nothing wrong with DeSantis getting endorsements. Even from people who are not politically perfect.
As Reagan said when folks questioned his endorsement by gay republicans, paraphrased: "hey, they are endorsing me... I'm not endorsing them."

Ryan is not highly respected among us Traditional Republicans, maybe he figures if he says something nice about our rising star, Ron DeSantis, he might possibly swipe some ancillary cred.

OK DeSantis fans - this is a problem, a big one.
I seem to remember a similar situation from not too long ago. There was a guy that many were gaga about and his name was Ted Cruz. He was supposed to be the one we were all waiting for. The one to finally lead us off of the rino plantation and into the windy heights of a constitutional republic. Then he fell in with the bushes and tried his best to sabotage the republican nominee for President that year, Donald J. Trump. Is history repeating itself?
